Take the Plunge with Women's Improv Playground by Jen Clarke
This workshop is about embracing the nervewracking, connecting with ourselves and braving a step in to improv comedy. Taking lessons from open water swimming, we invite those intrigued by trying comedy, looking to learn more ways to play or finding new ways to connect with their mind and body to take the plunge and join us!
Jen Clarke is a seasoned performer and workshop leader with a passion for play, community and inclusivity. She is also an enthusiastic (and very slow) open water swimmer who has learnt a lot of valuable lessons from taking a cold dip.
As Co-Director of Absolute Onions, founding cast member of Improv on Demand, cast member of Smashed!, Drunk Classics and all-female troupe Jens and Frens, Jen brings years of experience in live performance, collaborative theatre-making, and nurturing new talent. Her Women’s Improv Playground sessions are joyful, welcoming, and packed with playful energy. She is passionate about mental health and wellbeing being embedded in all she does.
